Flea 48 Super FET

The unique sound of the U48 has been a secret weapon in world-famous studios such as Abbey Road and Capitol Records for decades. Many engineers prefer the U48 because of its incredible sound on vocals in the figure-8 polar pattern. The FLEA 48 SuperFET offers a similar sound character of the tube version with all the benefits of FET technology.

The 48 SuperFET is manually equipped and wired, including gold-plated contact and solder pins and Neutrik output connector. Each passive component is thoroughly selected and tested before it’s used.

Select from two polar patterns, Cardioid and Figure-8. The microphone heads are compatible with the FLEA 47 and FLEA 48 as well as the original U47 and U48 microphones. Add a second Super 48 to utilize Blumlein and M/S stereo miking techniques.

Also included is a handmade oak wooden box to keep your mic safe in the studio or on the road. The heavy duty shock mount will help avoid unwanted rumble or noise while recording.
