The world’s best headphone for Virtual Reality - Audio plays a significant part in the VR experience. The iSINE headphones are a breakthrough in planar magnetic design that rewrites the rules for in-ear headphones. Featuring an astonishingly large 30mm driver and specially designed waveguides, the iSINEs are the most accurate in-ear headphones in the world and compatible with all major VR headsets. It delivers spectacular, immersive audio environments that are shockingly believable.

Why iSINE VR
iSine VR headphones using our proprietary planar magnetic technology have incredible transient response. This means you’ll hear every nuance and subtle location cue that holds the illusion together.

iSineVR headset drivers are matched within 1dB of each other. This means the spatial accuracy is unparalleled, along with a seriously wide soundstage that keeps up with VR’s potentially wide fields-of-view - up to 210 degrees and beyond.

iSineVR utilizes single driver design that produces a more coherent soundfield that adds to the realism. Multiple driver headphones invariably have phase coherency issues.

Audeze’s world-renowned bass response - the iSINE goes down to 10Hz! - provides a powerful foundation for the VR experience. From light sabres to gunshots will be dynamic and spatially-correct sound for gaming;

Semi-Open headphones for VR
The VR experience can be a little unsettling at first; users may become disoriented and lose their balance even when seated. Our research shows that using active noise cancelation or totally isolating headphones exacerbates the problem. The iSINE VR headphones are a vented, semi-open design allowing a small amount of ambient sound to be heard. The vented design along with the near-zero distortion delivers unprecedented audio immersion.

Cutting-edge industrial design
Our strategic partner Designworks, a BMW group subsidiary, provided the industrial design for the SINE. Audeze combines their cutting-edge designs with our own advanced planar magnetic technologies to create an astonishingly accurate sounding headphone with a custom aluminum frame and unique floating headband to provide maximum comfort over long listening sessions.

Our Latest Flagship, 1/3 Less Weight!

For the past decade, Audeze’s LCD series has set the standard for planar magnetic headphone performance. Starting with the LCD-2 that ushered in a new era of planar technology in 2009, we then introduced the LCD-3 in 2011 and LCD-4 in 2015. With the LCD-5, everything has been improved – drivers, earpads, frame design - to set a new standard for performance and comfort.

• New planar driver and magnet structure extends frequency response
• 1/3 less weight than the LCD-4!
• New sculpted earpad design improves upper midrange response
• Improved structural design incorporating magnesium, acetate and carbon-fiber

Transparency, Resolution, and Speed

The LCD-5 sets a new standard for accuracy. Its drivers are engineered with our award-winning Fluxor magnets and updated Fazor waveguides along with our new Patent-pending Parallel Uniforce™ voice coils, which employ varying width parallel traces to keep the impedance low and provide increased voltage headroom by altering the current density within each trace. The uniform force created by this optimization lowers distortion and provides better control over diaphragm movement, resulting in improved sonic resolution.

Clarity and Imaging

We’ve optimized every aspect of the LCD-5’s acoustic chamber to achieve pinpoint imaging and an extremely clean and clear soundstage. The new sculpted earpads and acoustically transparent mesh are designed to minimize reflections and resonance, while the Parallel Uniforce™ voice coil allows increased space between magnets for improved frequency response and a more open soundstage. LCD-5 also features newly designed low-profile Fazor waveguides to further reduce diffractions and interactions with the ear.

Elegant Comfortable Design

Weighing in at only 420 grams, the LCD-5 offers hours of listening pleasure. Every part has been re-engineered, using materials such as magnesium, aluminum and acetate which offer light weight and high rigidity. When you put on a pair of LCD-5s, your head and ears are cradled in materials of the finest quality. Supple premium leather and carbon-fiber pull all the elements together into a package of the finest craftsmanship, which we hand-assemble in our California workshop.

Sculpted Earpads

Our new sculpted, internally sloped earpad architecture reduces unwanted resonances and interior reflections. The ergonomic design cradles your cranium, and helps naturally place the headphone in the optimal listening position. The pads have less contact surface area than standard designs to reduce fatigue while providing a superior seal for all shapes and sizes.

Ultra High Purity Cable

The LCD-5 cable is specially tuned with directional OCC high-purity copper strands that provide a low capacitance and low resistance path for the signal to travel from your amp to the drivers, maintaining unsurpassed clarity and precision.

THE CULT OBJECT

The DT 990 Edition over-ear headphones have been winning the hearts of countless Hi-Fi and music enthusiasts since the 1980s

Distinctive highs and intense bass combine to produce a perfect richness of sound that delights rock and pop enthusiasts in particular.

EXCELLENT WEARING COMFORT

The flexible headband and silky-smooth ear pads ensure wearing comfort "par excellence". The ear pads are known for their breathable and skin-friendly velour, enabling the listener to enjoy music for hours without any excessive build-up of heat. Thanks to the combination of comfortable headband and robust yokes made from aluminium, the premium headphones ensure a pleasant fit even for long listening sessions.

DIFFERENCES COMPARED TO

DT 990 PRO

The DT 990 Edition and the DT 990 PRO are identical when it comes to sound. Identically designed acoustic transducers are used. However, the Edition models have a somewhat softer headband for enjoying music at home while the PRO headset has a slightly tighter fit on the head so that it doesn't move even in case of faster movements in everyday studio use. Moreover, the PRO version is supplied with a coiled cable and the Edition version with a straight cable.

Premium quality closed-back studio headphone for monitoring, editing, and mixing

• Linear sound balance, like Neumann’s acclaimed studio monitors
• Excellent isolation allows working in noisy environments
• Transparent sound with high resolution
• High long-term comfort, easy transportation
• Studio Grade Monitoring – Wherever You Go

The Neumann NDH 20 is a closed-back headphone combining excellent isolation with the carefully balanced sound image and outstanding resolution you’d expect from a Neumann product. The NDH 20 is thus ideally suited to monitoring and mixing tasks, even in loud and noisy environments. Circumaural memory foam ear pads offer high long-term comfort.

Critical Listening and Mixing – In the Studio, At Home, On the Road
While many other closed-back headphones are marred by nasty resonances in the midband, making it difficult to come to reliable mix decisions, the NDH 20 offers an astonishingly detailed, well-balanced sound image, similar to Neumann’s acclaimed studio loudspeakers. Superior sonics along with large memory foam ear pads make the NDH 20 a pleasure to wear for long periods without fatigue.

The NDH 20 uses newly designed drivers (38 mm/1.5”) with high-gauss neodymium magnets to ensure high sensitivity and minimized distortion, thus allowing the user to listen to the pure audio signal without unwanted coloration. The mechanical construction, too, meets the highest standards. The adjustable headband is made of flexible steel while the ear cup covers are machined from lightweight aluminum. For easy transportation the headphone is foldable and can be placed into the supplied soft cloth bag. Two detachable cables (one straight, one coiled) and a 6.3 mm (1/4”) adapter are also included.

Applications

The NDH 20 is suited to all applications that require high sound isolation such as monitoring for musicians and engineers in the tracking room as well as FOH work. It is also an excellent choice for critical listening, free from disturbance from the outside world and, vice versa, without causing disturbance to people nearby due to leakage. Thanks to its extended frequency response ranging from 5 Hz to 30 kHz the NDH 20 is particularly helpful to check the upper and lower extremes of the audio band.

Unlike most other closed-back headphones, the Neumann NDH 20 is suited to mixing purposes too. An unusually even frequency response and natural stereo image allow for mixing with confidence and ensure compatibility to all playback systems. The NDH 20 is thus an indispensible tool for working on the road. Of course, it is also an excellent headphone for audiophile entertainment.

Features

• Studio quality sound with outstanding resolution
• High sound isolation in loud environments
• Excellent comfort for extended listening sessions
• High quality metal construction
• Foldable design for easy transportation
• Two detachable cables (straight/coiled)

PERFECT MONITORING IN NEUMANN QUALITY – EVERYWHERE

The NDH 30 was developed with the aim of making the reference sound of a Neumann studio monitor setup, perfectly calibrated via MA 1, available everywhere in the form of an easily transportable headphone. At the same time, the NDH 30 forms its own sound reference in terms of headphone reproduction, which has become a key to success with the consumer. Its superior sound characteristics make the NDH 30 the first choice for mixing and mastering. Thanks to its high long-term comfort, it is just as excellently suited to high-precision editing.

Its high-quality construction of spring steel and aluminum as well as its pleasant handling properties are largely the same as those of the NDH 20. However, the NDH 30 is an open-back headphone, which means that its dynamic 38 mm transducers work as acoustic dipoles. This allows their highly refined sound characteristics to unfold optimally: extremely fast transient response, dry bass, uncolored mids and transparent highs. In other words, the NDH 30 has no sound coloration, but reproduces the signal 1:1.

UNCOMPROMISING PRECISION

The NDH 30 owes its superior linearity, among other things, to frequency-selective absorbers that eliminate the overemphasis in the high frequencies that leads to incorrect mixing decisions in many other headphones. For example, the NDH 30 will accurately reveal whether a voice sounds muffled or needs a de-esser.

The spatial resolution is impressive. The NDH 30 allows razor-sharp localization in the stereo panorama and makes the depth of the mix evident. To minimize channel crosstalk, the NDH 30 is supplied with a high-quality, cloth covered cable that is internally balanced.

PART OF A SUCCESSFUL FAMILY

With its high linearity and detail resolution, the NDH 30 is perfectly compatible with a loudspeaker system that has been optimally calibrated using Neumann Automatic Monitor Alignment. Mixes begun at home or on the road using the NDH 30 can be seamlessly continued in the studio using KH-Line loudspeakers – and vice versa. At the same time, the NDH 30 is recommended as a headphone sound reference; headphones, after all, have long become the dominant playback system among consumers. The NDH 30 is ideal for checking headphone compatibility and creating binaural mixes of immersive content (including VR and gaming). As consistency and reliability are essential in mixing and mastering, the NDH 30 is manufactured to extremely tight tolerances so each headphone sounds exactly the same.

FEATURES

• Outstanding linearity and transient response
• High spatial resolution
• Sound and mix compatibility with KH-Line speakers
• High long-term comfort
• Internally balanced, cloth covered cable (detachable)
• Foldable for easy transport
