The FLEA 49 is our replica of Neumann M49 microphone. All mechanical parts are authentic replicas. The FLEA 49 is fitted with the F7 capsule – our replica of the legendary M7 capsule. Another important part is the transformer which is our replica of the transformer used in M49 mics. Last but not least is the tube, carefully selected for noise reduction. The full set includes the microphone in wooden box, PSU, and cable.

Authentic C12 replica with modern PSU

The FLEA 12 is an exact replica of the AKG C12. It is equipped with Tim Campbell's CT12 capsule - a great choice if you are considering the clones of original CK12. The tube is a GE 6072 in five-star version which is minimally noisy and microphonic. These tubes were produced especially for military purposes and were used in the original C12. The transformer is our own replica of the original. The FLEA 12 comes standard with modern-style power supply with integradted pattern switch. Vintage-style PSU and dedicated pattern-selector box are available for an addition cost, upon request.

In some applications, this mic will seem somewhat neutral, but its benefits will surely stand out during mix-down. It is a fantastic choice for vocals, acoustic instruments and ambient miking.

The body is duraluminium and is nickel plated. The FLEA 48 is available only in short body version with matte nickel-plated grille. You like the U47 sound and you are set up mainly for a cardioid "mood"? Don't really need an omni? This is the mic for you. The FLEA Microphones 47 NEXT sounds identical to the FLEA 47! Built with the same wiring and components as the FLEA 47. Elimination of the omni pattern allowed us to make slightly different design. Compared to the FLEA 47 design, the FLEA 47 NEXT - comes without a pattern selector, which is unnecessary due to the cardioid only modification, and a different microphone bottom connector. We used a 7pin Binder connector for the 47 Next.

The FLEA 47 NEXT is packaged with FLEA's full standard kit, lined wooden box, power supply, cable and shock mount.
